History

Pre-Crisis

The Daily Star was a newspaper service that operated within the city of Metropolis.

News comes in to the Daily Star that the Valleyho Dam was collapsing. This led to editor-in-chief George Taylor wanting Clark Kent to head there to write the story. He tells Lois Lane to find Clark Kent and tell him to head for Valleyho. (Action Comics v1 #5)

Post-Crisis

Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events. Daily Star

Mark Shaw came to encounter Ray Guravich who reported on the courts. (Manhunter v1 #13)

Post-Flashpoint

Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events. Daily Star
