Biography
Yhwach (Japanese: ユーハバッハ, Hepburn: Yūhabahha) was a male spiritual being born as the son of the Soul King whose existence created the Soul Society.
He was said to had been born over a thousand years ago where he emerged into the world being unable to see, hear, talk or even move.
About 1,000 years ago, Yhwach and the Lichtreich engaged in battle with the original Gotei 13. In that time, he was noted to had fought Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, with Yhwach witnessing the capabilities of Yamamoto's Bankai, Zanka no Tachi. Overview
Personality and attributes
In appearance, Yhwach was a tall man with a long face, broad chin, and pronounced cheekbones who had long black hair that reached his lower back, and had reddish-brown eyes with thin eyebrows. He was referred to as being the Father of the Quincy (滅却師 (クインシー)の父, Kuinshī no Chichi) and held the epithet of A: The Almighty (全知全能 (ジ・アルマイティー), Zenchizennō (Ji Arumaitī), Japanese for "All-Knowing"), . As emperor of the Wandenreich, he was addressed as "Your Majesty" (陛下, heika) by his subjects.
He was a self-proclaimed lover of peace with him stating that he hated conflict and believed painful battles should be ended as quickly as possible.
Yhwach despised values like justice and honor. He also disliked blind loyalty, and was glad that his Sternritter showed outspoken discontent with his choice of successor.
To his Quincy, he treated some of his subordinates fondly calling them his sons. In such cases, he put great effort into forcibly recruiting them into his empire.
It was noted that he held a great deal of respect for the first generation of the Gotei 13 as he believed that those Shinigami who could strike fear into his heart. He especially admired Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, whom he called a demon for treating his subordinates as expendable ashes. It was for this reason that he was disappointed in the Gotei 13 after a thousand years since his last conflict with them as he found them far weaker.
