Number 4 was a high-ranking operative of SPECTRE, who posed as Mr. Osato's receptionist in his office at Osato Chemicals. He was later present alongside Number 3 at the SPECTRE base in a volcano in Japan. During the attack by Tiger Tanaka's ninjas, it was Number 4 who ordered the control room evacuated. He and the surviving control room technicians fled the base with their lives.
