Major Bottlenose was a prim and proper dolphin with a British accent. He was in charge of the UAF and SPACE's cryptology division, and from his underwater headquarters on Sludge he and his team (which included the octopus named Dexter) worked to intercept and decode top-secret transmissions from the Toad Empire.
