Suteyan was a mine worker in Kitamatsu who was friends with Shigeru Kamura. He joined Shigeru in searching for the missing Goro and Yoshi, during which they found poor Yoshi mutilated, and later led Sgt. Tashiro into the mine to find Goro. It was during this second expedition that Suteyan was killed by a Meganulon.
