Senkichi was a mine worker in Kitamatsu who was friends with Shigeru Kamura. He joined Shigeru in searching for the missing Goro and Yoshi, during which they found poor Yoshi mutilated, and later led Sergeant Tashiro into the mine to find Goro. It was during this second expedition that Senkichi was killed by a Meganulon.
