Ein

A Data Dog created in an illegal research facility, Ein was stolen by a serial pet-thief named Abdul Hakim, and was to be sold to a collector for millions of woolongs. Ein escaped and was brought back to The Bebop where Jet Black adopted it, much to Spike's chagrin as the latter hated animals. After several months on board The Bebop, Ein left with Ed.

Ein was a Welsh Corgi, and being an advanced Data Dog, was much more intelligent than any other member of the Bebop crew (though few realized this). He has been known to answer phones, turn on televisions, hack computers and even play a game of Shogi.
