The Headhunter was a mysterious masked member of an unknown tribe that existed on Earth. A savaged, he claimed that he sought people with knowledge and memories in order to claim their heads. These would be added to his collective of shrunken heads which in turn empowered the Headhhunter. (Hawkman v4 #21)

At some point, he came to learn of a myth regarding an immortal spirit with this being the [[Hawkman]] whose existence was said to had been littered throughout history and weaved across tales in the long past. The Headhunter looked to claim the knowledge and life experience of such a figure and decided to hunt the figure. (Hawkman v4 #21) He began to stalk the [[Carter Hall (DC)|Carter Hall]] when he began to operate as a hero in the town of '''St. Roch'''. Watching the superhero, the Headhunter looked to learn all of Hawkman's secrets. (Hawkman v4 #20)

With Hawkman in his grasp, the Headhunter prepared to claim the head of Carter Hall. However, he was interrupted when [[Kendra Saunders]] entered the apartment after finding out that someone had broken in. She was the other prey for him as she was [[Hawkgirl]] but she lacked any memories or knowledge of her past. Thus, he believed her to be worth nothing and decided not to claim her head. This allowed her to renew an attack against the Headhunter who ultimately decided to escape. Using his dust, he created a distraction and left through the window. With him gone, Kendra Saunders went about using the Nth Metal in Hawkman's wings to heal Carter Hall. Retreating to the cemetery, he waited there for Hawkman who tracked the villain down. The Headhunter revealed that he wanted Hawkman to be strong so that he could claim his power and thus be stronger in turn. Gathering bones of Carter Hall's previous reincarnations, he had them form into undead copies of his quarry which he prepared to fight Hawkman. (Hawkman v4 #21)

Biography
