  • In DC Universe Online, the H.I.V.E. featured as antagonists to both the heroes and the villains where they were led by the alien H.I.V.E. Queen Zazzala who had forged an alliance with Brainiac for control of Earth. Queen Bee as a result ordered her forces to attack S.T.A.R. Labs and LexCorp Transports carrying Exobytes that were travelling by the Metropolis Metrodome. Their goal was the recovery of the stolen Exobytes for Brainiac. The players were tasked with battling the H.I.V.E., defeating Queen Bee and combating the hypnotized Booster Gold. Among the H.I.V.E.'s forces included H.I.V.E. Drones, H.I.V.E. Foragers, H.I.V.E. Killer Bees, H.I.V.E. Recruits, H.I.V.E. Royal Drones, H.I.V.E. Stingers, H.I.V.E. Workers, H.I.V.E. Minders, Mortuary Bees and Major Honeygut.
