Biography
Origin
Li Lotus was a male panda born as the son of Li Shan at a remote farming populated village home to a community of pandas. He along with his parents grew up happily in the village that was attacked by the nobleman Shen. The power hungry peacock had heard a prophecy that a panda would become a threat to his rule and in an effort to avert this future he decided to murder the village's inhabitants.
As a last resort to protecting her child, Lotus's mother hid him in a crate of radishes. They share an emotional goodbye, before she is tragically killed by Shen and his wolf army. The crate Lotus was in was eventually shipped far away to the Valley of Peace, where the owner of a noodle shop, Mr. Ping, found the baby panda, who had eaten the radishes. Though reluctant to take him in at first, Mr. Ping, upon realizing that no one was looking for him, eventually took him in giving him the name "Xiao Po" and raising him as his own son.

Due to his bulky physique, he was naturally immune to Tai Lung's nerve attacks. In one case, took a near-direct hit from a cannon ball and still managed to survive.
He came to be a talented noodle maker and an excellent chef, having worked in his father's restaurant for years. He can chop up items rapidly and with precision.
Despite his size, he was extremely agile who was able to hold his own against a master as swift as Shifu during training.
He was the originator of Panda Style that came to be the newest of all the twelve kung fu styles. Students of the Panda Style rarely attack first. They make their opponents tired with a strong 'Belly' defense, then they attack with surprise moves that appear to almost be an accident. Masters of Panda Style joke and tease their opponents while they fight.
