CV-1000 was a carrier virus designed by Dr. Anton Sevarius for Dominique Destine. CV-1000 was designed to bond with other agents, such as antibiotics (the public intention) or pathogens (the secret intention), to create new contagious viruses that spread those agents. Demona magically merged the CV-1000 with a disinfectant, DI-7, planning to use it to scour Earth of all life except gargoyles. However, the combined virus' still-sealed vial was captured by Goliath.
