During a brief fight, Stingray attempted to take the fight back underwater but Iron Man changed into his hydro-armor where he used a sonic pulse to knock his opponent unconscious.   • Walter Newell was created by Roy Thomas and Bill Everett where he made his first appearance in Tales to Astonish v1 #95 (September 1967) but debuted as Stingray in Sub-Mariner v1 #19 (November 1969).
