History
The Exo-Terrorism Unit (ETU) or Task Force Wotan were a government agency that consisted of operatives tasked with combating alien threats on Earth. The United States government became aware of the existence of the Hunters in 2009.
Overview
They were equipped to deal with the kind of terrorists that other agencies were not able to handle. The nature of the threats they battled were classified from non-taskforce members. The terrorists that they battled were not human and in fact alien threats.
