Sometime afterwards, Psylocke was part of a group of X-Men that were investigating the return of Wolverine on Madripoor where her soul was absorbed by [[Sapphrie Styx]] leaving her body dead. Betsy Braddock's soul eventually managed to escape causing Styx's body to explode whereupon Psylocke instinctively reforms a new body from Sapphire's soul power thus restoring herself in her original form.
