The Global Sedition was a terrorist organization formed on Earth that challenged the dominance of the planetary government. As a result, they frequently challenged the United Global Space Force and attempted to gain a monopoly on interstellar colonisation. They tried to destroy the Hypergate in order to accomplish this task but their Gentech mutant raiders failed in the task. They would later use their agent, Doctor Smith, to sabotage the Jupiter Mission.
