Biography
Shinra Kusakabe (森羅日下部, Shinra Kusakabe) was a male human born on an Earth that was forever altered by the Great Cataclysm (大災害, Daisaigai) with him being raised by his mother who cared for him and his younger brother Shō Kusakabe. Around 12 years ago, he was in his family's home when Sho's Adolla Burst was activated that created a fire that spread across the house. This also saw his mother transform into a Demon-Class Infernal along with awakening this power within Shinra as well. The young Shinra was unaware that the creature in the home was his mother and attempted to escape but instead passed out. At the time, the Special Fire Force arrived at the scene with Shinra asking them to escape his mother and brother. However, Captain Leonard Burns came to inform him that both had perished in the event with him being the only survivor of the event.

Kusakabe was known by the name of the Devil (悪魔, Akuma).
He was said to have this tendency to smile in situations where he was nervous.
As stated by Shinra, he came to hate fire for how it took his family away from him. However, he intended to use the power he had to avenge his family and stop further such tragedies from happening in the future.
