Elrond is a male literary character who features in Middle-earth.

Biography
Elrond was a male Half-Elf born in the First Age at the refuge of the Mouths of Sirion in Beleriand on Middle-earth with him being the son of Eärendil and Elwing.
He then discovered that Isildur had claimed the One Ring in the battle against Sauron and urged him to throw it into the fires of Mount Doom. However, the seduction of the ring caused Isildur to refuse and instead sought to claim the One RIng for himself.

Personality and attributes
It was said that his face was ageless where it appeared to be neither old nor young. He came to be known by the title of Lord of Rivendell and commanded that hidden refuge.
He came to wed an Elven noblewoman named Celebrían who bore him three children namely Elrohir, Elladan and Arwen.
Following the death of Arathorn, Elrond came to raise the man's son Aragorn in his own household and became a surrogate father to him.
