History
Project YoRHa came as a result of the failure of Project Gestalt in 3400 CE with the remaining androids looking for a means of reviving humanity.
Overview
In appearance, Project YoRHa was a military organization that consisted of humanoid androids designed by humanity. Their purpose was to help retake the planet Earth from the Machine Lifeforms in order to bring about the return of humanity. The androids all appeared similar to human beings though had a number of abilities beyond those of their creators.
A key fact of YoRHa units was that they were equipped with a system known as the black box. These items were made from re-using the core of a Machine Lifeform where it contained the consciousness of the android.
Androids were divided into numerous classes that included:
- A - Attacker :
- B - Battler :
- C - Canceller :
- D - Defender :
- E - Executioner :
- G - Gunner :
- H - Healer :
- O - Operator :
- S - Scanner :
On request, YoRHa androids were capable of switching their roles.
Leadership of the project was seemingly held by the Council of Humanity that was said to consist of the last remaining human creators of the androids. Actual leadership of the YoRHa was held by a senior android who held the position of Commander.
Project YoRHa was based on the thirteen orbital base that was known as the Bunker.
