Biography
Origin
Jennifer Pierce was a female Metahuman born as the youngest daughter of Black Lightning and his wife Lynn Stewart with her having an older sister named Anissa Pierce. (Justice Society of America v3 #13)
When her powers manifested, they came to randomly trigger whenever she touched an electrical device thus shorting power at her home. This caused her parents to consider enrolling her with the Justice Society so that she could handle her powers. (Justice Society of America v3 #12)

She was the daughter of Jefferson Pierce who was the superhero Black Lightning whilst her mother was Lynn Stewart. Jennifer was the younger sister of Anissa Pierce who had also gone to become a superhero named Thunder. (Justice Society of America v3 #13)
Powers and abilities
Her body began to generate some kind of electrical field that initially was triggered anytime she touched anything electronic. (Justice Society of America v3 #12) Once triggered, she was trapped in that state for 5 or 10 minutes. (Justice Society of America v3 #12) Every fuse within a hundred yards were not to be effected by her powers. (Justice Society of America v3 #13)
