Bane (The Batman)

Bane.

Bane was a mercenary who submitted himself to experiments in a secret lab in the Amazon. As a result, he acquired a harness that pumped special chemicals into his body, radically increasing his size, strength and durability. Bane was hired by a group of Gotham City crimelords to take out the Batman, and left him with severe injuries after their first encounter. Bane led a crime spree across the city, foiling the Gotham City Police Department's efforts against him at every turn, until Batman- in his Batbot armor- was finally able to defeat him.
