The Hierarchy are an alien race of invaders that appear in Universe at War: Earth Assault.

History

In the distant past of the species, at least a thousand years ago, the race neared extinction but were saved by another alien race which were the Masari. The peaceful explorers provided the Hierarchy with technology to survive but as soon as they were saved, the Hierarchy turned against their saviours; nearly destroying them in the process, however, they feld. After which the Hierarchy became a terrible force in the galaxy which stripped worlds of resources be they organic or inorganic in origin.

Another conquest of theirs would be the destruction of the species that created the Novus machines.

One species they invaded were the Skinwalkers who they faced heavy resistance against until one of their kind, Nufai, betrayed his people to the Hierarchy.

Now, the Hierarchy are invading the planet Earth seeking to claim its resources, however, the Controller of the operation has another plan which is to deal with the troublesome Novus.

Background

The Hierarchy were a blue skinned Humanoid race nd were capable of psionic abilities but this would have to be amplified by technology. The race varied in their behavior with some not caring for the lives of their troops while others were pure warriors thatheld onto the concepts of honor and the preservation of their race though there appears to be more examples of the former then the latter. One example of this is the Hierarchy Lost One, a mutated member of their race that serves as scouts and assassins.

The highest authority within the Hierarchy were the Overseers. Impressing them meant advancement for ambitious Controlllers.

Technology

The Hierarchy employ large mobile walkers and employ radiation weaponry along with plasma to destroy their enemies.
