Biography

Carlie Ellen Cooper is a female human who lived in the modern age. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #660) During high school, she became best friends with Lily Hollister. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #545)

She attended a party where Harry Osborn revealed to his friends that he was dating Holister. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #545)

She began to investigate and managed to learn that her police Captain Yuri Watanabe was in fact the mysterious vigilante known as the Wraith. After the exposure of Mister Negative, Carlie confronted Watanabe but decided not to reveal her identity and instead helped her keep her secret identity as she felt Yuri was a good person. When she confessed this to Peter, he told her that he was the designer of Spider-Man's various equipment. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #664)

She came to consider Peter Parker as being someone who was good, sweet and kind. At one point, she was angry with Peter for keeping secrets with her and during a drunk night out she decided to have a tattoo that was of Spider-Man in an attempt to make him angry. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #660)
