Fear-Rings

The Fear-Rings were earrings possessed by Screamthief that were the source of her powers. They absorbed ambient fear and anxiety around her, enabling her to manifest her victims' worst fears. They then left her sources entrapped in the so-called Fear Effect. When she took them off after being comforted by the Martian Manhunter, she dissipated- apparently they maintained her existence as well.
