Book of Peace
The Book of Peace was an artifact that featured in Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas.
Background
The Book was an ancient item which was placed on a ship bound for Syracuse in order to celebrate the peace between the Kings of the Seven Cities. The ship was targeted by the young pirate Sinbad but once he discovered his friend Proteus was on the ship he gave up his attempt at theft. The Book of Peace was then escorted to the Lighthouse in Syracuse where it was placed in its honorary position.
The Greek Goddess Eris disguised herself as Sinbad in order to steal the book for herself and took it to her home in Tartarus leaving Sinbad to be blamed for the theft. His friend Proteus accepted to be placed under arrest and face Sinbads punishment whilst he went to retrieve the book. He had ten days to accomplish the task otherwise Proteus would face execution for the crime.
Sinbad ultimately made his way to Tartarus where he sought to get the book but Eris asked him a question he needed to answer truthfully which was if he could not get the book, would he return to Syracuse to accept the punishment of death. Sinbad replied by saying yes he would which was a lie and Eris kept the book. But ultimately, Sinbad unwittingly returned to face his executioner which infuriated Eris who returned the Book to its owners.
