Biography

Post-Flashpoint

Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.

Maggie Kyle was shown as being the younger sister of Selina Kyle with the pair surviving a rough childhood due to their parents. In their childhood, Selina often engaged in acts of theft with Maggie not being happy at it where she always asked her sister why she could not behave like a normal person. According to Maggie, each survived in their own way that they believed to had been the right path. By adulthood, the two siblings remained in contact with one another despite Maggie's disapproval of Selina's lifestyle. During this time, Maggie became involved with a man named Simon and the two married with her introducing Selina to him. However, her sister's life as Catwoman came to intrude on their quiet life when Black Mask in an attempt to hurt Catwoman decided to strike at her loved ones. This saw Maggie and Simon being abducted with the latter being tortured to death whilst the latter was left wheelchair bound and in a non-responsive catatonic state. (Catwoman v5 #4)

Personality and attributes

According to Selina, Maggie was always so perfect with her always trying hard to the point of begging for love and affection. Thus, she was devoted first to their mother then to the church then to her husband. (Catwoman v5 #4)

Notes

• Maggie Kyle was created by Mindy Newell and Joe Brozowski where she made her first appearance in Catwoman v1 #1 (February, 1989).
