Biography
Hera Syndulla was a female Twi'lek who was born on her homeworld of Ryloth where she was the daughter of Cham Syndulla with her being a child during the time of the Clone Wars. Her father was notable for being a revolutionary who had fought against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
At the Battle of Ryloth, a BTL Y-wing starfighter crashed near her home with Hera investigating the site. She found the pilot to had died but managed to recover an old astromech droid from the fighter with this being C1-10P.
After the Clone Wars ended, the Republic came to be re-organised into the first Galactic Empire under the reign of Palpatine. This saw Ryloth being freed from Separatist threat and transitioning to Imperial rule with Cham Syndulla working with the Twi'lek senator in order to rebuild their world. However, many Twi'leks were uneasy over the Empire and their presence on their world with the young Hera hearing these voices from her uncle and mother.

According to her, flying was not something that was trained into a person but rather a feeling one experienced.

- Hera Syndulla was voiced by actor Vanessa Marshall where she featured in the setting of Star Wars: Rebels.
- In an interview on Entertainment Weekly, Dave Filoni had said on the character, "She is a very strong-minded character, kind of the heart of the group, keeps everyone together when they would otherwise fall apart".

- In Star Wars: Squadrons, Hera Syndulla appeared in the setting of the first person flight simulator video game where she was once again voiced by actress Vanessa Marshall. She became a member of the New Republic's military where she was sent to oversaw the initiative at the Nadiri Dockyards.
