Biography
Terry Bogard (Japanese: テリー・ボガード, Hepburn: Terī Bogādo) was a male human born in the modern age where it was known that he had a younger brother named Andy Bogard. The siblings parents were noted to had died leaving thema s orphans who raised themselves on the streets. This was until one day they met a man named Jeff Bogard who came to adopt them where they began to live in Southtown.
When he was 10 years old, Terry came to witness the death of his father at the hands of Geese Howard.
Overview
Personality and attributes
He came to be known as the Legendary Wolf (伝説の狼, Densetsu no Ookami) and as the South Town Hero (サウスタウンヒーロー, Sausu Taun Hīrō).
It was known that he was an orphan with his only family being his brother Andy Bogard. The pair were on the streets until they were adopted by Jeff Bogard.
When he was learning martial arts, he came under the tutelage of Tung Fu Rue who was the legendary master of Hakkyokuseiken. The man had trained Geese Howard as well but Tung Fu Rue had wanted Terry to be his successor.
He later came to be the guardian of Geese's son Rock Howard.
Powers and abilities
As a martial artist, he came to develop a style that was a mix of boxing, karate, kung fu, kickboxing and street fighting in order to create a unique fighting style.
He was a disciple of the Hakkyokuseiken (Pinyin: Bājíshèngquán; Hanzi/kanji: 八極聖拳; literally: Eight Extremes Holy Fist) that was an unusual fighting style involving the use of chi energy.
