Biography
Uncle Six was the name taken by a Chinese man born in the modern age. It was noted that when he was young that his father incurred a gambling debt to the Triad. This saw him being sold off to the crime syndicate where he was shipped off to San Francisco to pay for his father's debt. Whilst there, he came to work as a member of the Triad and grow within the ranks of the organization. Decades later, he was sent to oversee one of the ships smuggling illegal immigrants to the country. On the ship, many of the immigrants had died during the journey which was when Uncle Six encountered a young boy named Kai Jin who would not leave his dead father and kept repeating the word 'Yateem'. Taking the boy, he had his fathers body buried whilst having Kai sent to an orphanage. Uncle Six though would learn that each time the young Kai would run away from the orphanage or school where he would end up at his fathers grave. It was then that Uncle Six learnt that 'Yateem' meant 'no father' and he decided to adopt the boy as his own son due to their similar past. When Kai was a teenager, Uncle Six drove him to meet the Triad leader Raymond Tang. Tang had attempted to force Kai to kill a rival gang member who had tried to kill Uncle Six. However, Uncle Six ended up killing the gang member in front of Kai and scarring his adoptive son in the process. It was then that Uncle Six promised to Kai that he would not have to kill anyone. Raymond Tang then had Uncle Six bury the body of the dead rival gang member. Finding a remote site, he was in the process of digging the grave when he encountered a mysterious object in the ground. Upon touching it, he came to find himself being empowered Fire Wu Xing giving him the ability to control fire. As the Fire Wu, he looked to establish himself as the leader of Chinatown and went about gaining power by killing the Triad leaders. The Triad leaders at the time were meeting at an old hotel where Uncle Six used his abilities to kill the guards and murder their bosses. He then started a fire in the hotel to hide his involvement in the incident. However, unknown to him at the time, Kai was trapped in the basement along with his friends Lu Xin Lee, Jenny and her brother Tommy. By chance, he came to find them and used his powers to extinguish the flames though Lu Xin was burnt by the fires in this time. The teenagers were unaware that Uncle Six had been responsible for the fire and he came to pay for the surgery to cover up the burns on Lu Xin's body. Heading the Triad in Chinatown, he would at some point encounter Zan who he hired as his bodyguard. Later on, he offered Jenny a loan for her to start a restaurant in his territory. Around this time, Kai would distance himself from his adoptive father and his criminal life in order to become a chef.
Later on, the subject of an investigation between the San Francisco police who believed that the Triad and the Scottish Gang are about to go to war, and assigns a police detective name Christine Gavin to investigate it. Frank Fletcher, a Police captain, tells Christine to investigate a man name Lu Xin Lee, who is believed to be a Triad member working against Uncle Six. Uncle Six found two rival gang members who were making deals on his territory. Uncle Six tells them the story of Uncle Pete, the first Chinese millionaire, before killing them. Later Uncle Six assigns Zan to bring Kai to Uncle Six. Uncle Six offers Kai a new place to work, as well as free rent but Kai refuses, leaving Uncle Six disappointed. In the end of the episode, Uncle Six finds out from two henchmen that they were trying to hurt Kai due to him insulting the Triad earlier, and Uncle Six kills them for trying to harm Kai and innocents, but not before finding out a bald man was fighting his men. Uncle Six ordered Zan to bring Kai to his house. Uncle Six apologizes for what happened, and asks who was the old man that saved him, but Kai lies by saying he does not know who it was. Later Jenny returns the loan she got from Uncle Six, which leaves Uncle Six seemingly hurt as he thought Jenny was his friend. Uncle Six tells her that he will accept the money if he can eat at her restaurant and tells her to never cross him again. Uncle Six found Mr. Young in the hospital and asks him who was the man that saved him, and when Mr. Young doesn't answer Uncle Six squeezes the tube that keeps Mr. Young conscious. Before passing out Mr. Young reveals it was the Wu Assassin that saved him, leaving Uncle Six shocked. Uncle Six is seen in Kai's vision as fighting him and killing a woman name Christine Gavin. Kai Jin told her that Uncle Six would kill her in Nikki Steakhouse, Christine does some digging and finds out something suspicious happened in Nikki Steakhouse 15 years ago. She meets with a witness name Jack who tells her that it wasn't an ordinary fire that burned Nikki Steakhouse, the fire looked and moved like a snake. Christine goes to Nikki Steakhouse, ignoring Kai's warning.

After obtaining the Fire Wu Xing, Uncle Six obtained the power to control fire. With it, he was capable of shooting fire out of his hands as projectile blasts. He could also fashion constructs made of flames such as fire whips that be used to drag a person to him.
