• Ahamkara were created by Bungie where they featured in the setting of the Destiny universe.
• The word Ahamkara (Sanskrit: अहंकार ; Romanized: Ahaṁkāra) came from Sanskrit beliefs with this being a term referred to 'I-making' and came from Saṃkhyā philosophy that refers to the identification of Self or Being with 'Nature' or any impermanent 'thing'.
