Saint Vigeous was a figure venerated by vampires who acted as their dark patron saint. Supposedly, he led a vampiric crusade in ancient times, sweeping through Edessa, Harran, and points east. The three nights of the Feast of Saint Vigeous became a time of enhanced power for vampires, a "Holy Night of Attack."
