Saraar

Saraar was the Science Minister of the Doragians. After the Khund Empire threatened to invade, he used the Infektikon to transmit a psi-virus to Earth, infecting humans and transforming their shadows into embodiments of their evil and aggression. The shadows would then send those darker impulses back home, where Saraar could infuse them into his people to make them able fighters. Saraar's machine was destroyed by the second Flash and Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), and he cursed them for their actions as they left. Green Lantern resolved to warn the Guardians of the Universe about Saraar, so they could stop him from trying again.
