Daystar

Daystar was a type of virus made by the Nightstalkers in Blade: Trinity.

Background

This virus was genetically engineered with the intent of infecting Vampires and killing them. In order to accomplish this, a sample of Drake's blood was required as he was the progenitor of the Vampire species. This bio-weapon could be sent through a ventilation system allowing it to affect Vampires as they simply breath the virus. Its affects are seen as the skin of the Vampire begins to deteoriate as if they were being slain.
