AeroTech Industries is a corporation that features in Space: Above and Beyond.

History

The origins of AeroTech Industries was not known except that they were active during the time of the 21st century. During that time, they were responsible for the development of the Vesta and Tellus colonies as humanity expanded into the stars. (Episode: Pilot, Part 1)

This corporation played a critical role during the resultant Chig War where they aided the military against the menace posed by the alien invaders. Following the 58th Squadrons escape from the Kezbek mining colony, they had managed to retrieve a previously unknown ore which AeroTech acquired. After that event, the material became the property of AeroTech Industries that studied the material and named it Sewell Fuel. Upon the completion of the study of the ore, Deputy Director Howard Sewell was dispatched to the USS Saratoga in order to brief the military personnel of a new development. This was their conclusion which concured with naval intelligence that the development of a prototype alien fighter that ran on Sewell Fuell was a threat to Operation: Roundhammer. hus, their conclusion was that the enemy ship had to be destroyed before they cold proceed with further operations.
