Shy Shen

The Shy Shen is a title given to a character within Rush Hour 3.

Overview

The Shy Shen was a term given by the Chinese Triad to the spirit of death. This individual, since the ancient times in China, would possess a list of all the Dragon Head leaders of the Triad. In the years that followed, the term Shy Shen would become lost to society and people believed the Shy Shen to be an actual paper that contained the list of the leaders of the Triad criminal organization.

It was revealed that the Shy Shen was a person who's head would be tatooed with the names of the leaders of the Triad. This was done so in order to avoid suspicion and prevent people from discovering the list which, if in the right hands, could topple the Triad organization. When the Triad gather to elect a new leader, the Shy Shen would be beheaded to seal the secrecy of the new leader until a new one was appointed.
