History
In 2260, at the urging of the Shadows, the Brakiri were one of many races within the League who began attacking their neighboring civilizations leading to many of their vessels being lost. (Episode: Interludes and Examinations) Afterwards, the Shadows began openly targeting the other races starting with Brakiri space as they began the next stage of the Shadow War. (Episode: Ship of Tears) As a result, the species were forced to face the dark vessels of their enemy and were hopelessly unable to combat them due to their advanced technology. Thus, a Brakiri ambassador alongside the Gaim went before Captain Sheridan on Babylon 5 to seek further aid. (Episode: Interludes and Examinations)
Overview
They were noted to hold family structures and greater groups known as the water clans. (Episode: A Day in the Strife)
Comets were noted for being potent death symbols within their culture and to invoke their name on a Brakiri was the equivalent of making a death threat. (Episode: A Day in the Strife)
