In other media

Television

  • In X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men, Asteroid M featured as the orbiting headquarters of Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. After acquiring Cerebro's Mutant Power Circuit, Magneto took the part to the asteroid where he used it to amplify his powers to draw the Scorpio comet to set it on a collision course to Earth in order to wipe out mankind. This led to the X-Men traveling to Asteroid M to stop Magneto's plan where Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler managed to force the Master of Magnetism to use his powers to redirect the Scorpio comet to the asteroid. This would destroy the base with the Brotherhood and X-Men escaping before the comet hit it.

Arbiter, he departed for his asteroid headquarters and offered it as a shelter for Mutants that were escaping persecution from the Genetic Research and Security Organization (G.R.S.O.).
