- Bova was created by Roy Thomas and Rich Buckler where she made her first appearance in Giant-Size Avengers v1 #1 (August 1974).

Television
- In X-Men, Bova made an appearance in the cartoon series in the episode "Family Ties". It was revealed that she cared for the infant Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch after their mother died bringing them to Mount Wundagore. The grown up Maximoffs later returned to Wundagore in search of their origin and met with Lady Bova who claimed that Magneto was responsible for their mother's death.
