• Rimbor was created by Edmond Hamilton and John Forte where it made its first appearance in Adventure Comics v1 #316 (January, 1964).

Television

• In Young Justice, the planet Rimbor made an appearance in the animated television series with it being named in its second season. The Light after taking control of seven members of the Justice League sent them to attack Rimbor before returning to Earth with this occurring over a period of 16 hours. After they were freed, they had no knowledge of their whereabouts with the League attempting to find out what they did during that time but were unable to do so. The damage they caused on Rimbor led to the League and all superheroes of Earth being the most wanted in the galaxy and targeted for arrest. The Light had done this in order to highlight the powers of Metahumans on Earth to alien races in order to attract a powerful species to the planet. Upon learning of their activities, the seven Justice League members voluntarily surrendered themselves to the galactic authorities where they went for a trial on Rimbor.
