History
Origin
The Legion of Super-Heroes Headquarters was the headquarters of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th century. Originally, the Legionnaires operated from the Legion Clubhouse that served as a gathering place for their members. (Adventure Comics v1 #247) At one point, the Legion's powers went out of their respective control leading to them inadvertently damaging the super-hero Clubhouse. (Adventure Comics v1 #300) A fearsome battle against the Fatal Five led to the Clubhouse being badly damaged with the Legion considering rebuilding it after a period of rest. (Adventure Comics v1 #366) Ultimately, the United Planets decided that in recognition of the Legion's service that they would fund the creation of a new headquarters for the superhero team. (Adventure Comics v1 #367)

Overview
In appearance, the Legion Headquarters was said to be a veritable fortress that was built Manganium Inertron insulation that was the most indestructible and rarest material in the galaxy whilst Thymo-Plastic was used as a substance that ensured it would stand for a million years. (Adventure Comics v1 #367)
Locations within the Headquarters included:
- Control Room : nerve centre for the whole complex with communication systems that allowed contact to any planet in the universe. (Adventure Comics v1 #367)
- Weapon Room : a chamber shared with the old Clubhouse which contained a range of weapons and new ones that were added such as a Dimensional Blaster. (Adventure Comics v1 #367)
- Memorial Room : a room containing statues to fallen Legionnaires that had perished in service. (Adventure Comics v1 #367)
A feature present was the Legion Locater Board that was a computer system that allowed the Legionnaires to keep track of the location of its members. (Adventure Comics v1 #367)
