Trinity (The Matrix)

Trinity is a female film character who features in The Matrix.

Biography

Trinity was a female human who was born within the simulated virtual reality known as the The Matrix which was built by the Machines. She was known to had been a well-known computer hacker at one point who was famous in underground circles for hacking into the IRS database. Eventually, she came to be freed from the system and joined the resistance that were centred on the last free human stronghold in the underground city of Zion. She came to join Morpheus and his crew on the Nebuchadnezzar with her taking the name Trinity as she set about freeing mankind from the Machines.

• Trinity was created by The Wachowskis where she was portrayed by actor Carrie-Anne Moss and featured in the setting of The Matrix.
