Biography
Sokka (Chinese: 索卡; pinyin: Suǒ Kǎ)
Overview
Personality and attributes
He tended to see women capable in tasks such as sewing whilst men were more capable of being warriors. This view was challenged when he visited Kyoshi Island and met the Kyoshi Warriors who captured Team Avatar. At first, Sokka refused to believe that women were responsible for capturing him and thought it must have been men. He then believed that the Kyoshi Warriors were lucky as they had surprised him and decided to spar with their leader Suki to show he was a superior warrior. Sokka was effortlessly defeated and was humbled by the experience where he then asked to be trained by her. He then came to regret his earlier views and said he should not have seen her Suki as a girl but as a fellow warrior. She though told him that he was a warrior who happened to be a girl seemingly leading to Sokka re-evaluating his views on gender and even apologised to his sister Katara over his treatment of her in the past. Whilst on Kyoshi Warrior, he trained under their chief warrior Suki where he learnt how to be a better warrior from her. During this time, the pair came closer and she kissed him on the cheek causing Sokka to blush. (Episode: The Warriors of Kyoshi)
Powers and abilities
Whilst among the Kyoshi Warriors, he trained under them even though traditionally they did not allow outsiders nor men among their ranks. However, Suki allowed it and he trained in their martial arts style which involved using a person's own strength against them. (Episode: The Warriors of Kyoshi)

- Sokka was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko whilst he was voiced by voice actor Jack DeSena and featured in the setting of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
