Biography
Thomas Logan was a male human who lived in the late 19th century where at some point he had a son who later came to be known as Dog Logan. Mister Logan came to get a job as groundskeeper at the Howlett Estate with his son helping him in his duties. (Origin v1 #1)

He was noted to be drinking alcohol all overs of the day and cursed at everyone he saw. (Origin v1 #1)
It was believed that he was responsible for beating up his son. (Origin v1 #1)

- Thomas Logan was created by Bill Jemas, Paul Jenkins, Joe Quesada, and Andy Kubert where he made his first appearance in Origin v1 #1 (November, 2001).
Alternate Versions
- In Wolverine: The End v1 (2004), the gardener appeared in the alternate universe setting where his affair with Elizabeth Howlett was witnessed by their first born child John Howlett, Junior who had lived in this setting. After seeing the affair, John Howlett flew into a rage and unleashed his bone claws for the first time where he accidently hurt his mother. Upon seeing this, his grandfather the Old Man had the boy shipped to an asylum as he was deemed an embarrassment to the family and it was claimed that John Howlett Junior had died with his younger brother James Howlett unaware of the truth.

- In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the unnamed father of Wolverine appeared in the live-action film where he was portrayed by actor Aaron Jeffery. He was shown as being the father of both Victor Creed and Logan. Thomas was killed when the young Logan unleashed his claws for the first time and killed his biological father. Though unnamed in the film, he was named as Thomas Logan in the credit sequence.
