- Dungeons and Dragons (Forgotten Realms): c. 9742 BC (c. -10,000 DR). The Illythiiri and other corrupted elves are transformed into the drow by Corellon's power, directed through his priests and High Mages. They flee into the Underdark. The Elven Court is formed in the eastern woods, which are later named Cormanthor. (Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (3rd Edition))
