Black☆Star is a male anime and manga character who features in Soul Eater.

Biography

Black☆Star (Japanese: ブラック☆スター, Hepburn: Burakku☆Sutā) was a male human born the son of White☆Star (ホワイト☆スター, Howaito☆Sutā) and a member of the infamous Star Clan (星の一族, Hoshi no Ichizoku). Around 13 years ago, the clan were noted for their ruthlessness where they took part in any assassination mission for money. This led to them being renowned for their merciless attacks and killings which reached the point that it violated the rules set by the Death Weapon Meister Academy. As a result, the organization decided to have the clan eliminated where all were killed except for the newly born Black☆Star. The infant was then taken in by the academy where he came to be raised by a young Sid Barrett.

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Black☆Star was a short young teenage man with bright blue spiky hair that stuck out on the sides in a manner similar to a star. He came to refer to himself as the Warrior God (武神, Bushin) due to his fighting skill.

Powers and abilities

He had an overwhelming level of physical abilities having garnered so much proficiency in his physical abilities. Originally, Black☆Star was considered one of the top three students in Death Weapon Meister Academy alongside Death the Kid and Kilik Rung.

He was a competent fighter who was trained in martial arts (武道, Budō) where Maka Albarn once stated that Black☆Star specialized in performing martial arts.

He was armed with a Demon Shadow Weapon (魔暗器, Maanki) where he was with Tsubaki Nakatsukasa (中務 椿, Nakatsukasa Tsubaki).
