Biography
Momoshiki Otsutsuki (Japanese: 大筒木 モモシキ, Hepburn: Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki) was a male member of the extraterrestrial Ōtsutsuki Clan who wandered the universe to plant God Trees (神樹, Shinju, English TV: Divine Tree) that would produce chakra fruit from a worlds life energy.
At some point, he came upon a world containing a god tree which came to be devastated by the clan. Momoshiki then proceeded to eat from the chakra fruit where he was approached by Kinshiki, who had observed substantial tears in Kaguya's world, with its space curvature exceeding 16. After Kinshiki noted that she violated their clan's laws by failing to report the abnormal space curvature, Momoshiki wondered whether she had betrayed the clan, or had somehow been overthrown and destroyed by the 'inferior lifeforms' inhabiting her world. Finding that possibility interesting, Momoshiki ordered Kinshiki to prepare to depart, hoping that Kaguya's world would have an abundance of chakra worthy of being consumed.
While seeking out Kaguya's whereabouts at her former castle in the anime, Momoshiki and Kinshiki encountered Sasuke as he was seeking information on a threat greater than Kaguya. In a blizzard, Kinshiki fought against Sasuke, while Momoshiki watched from afar and was enticed by the power of Sasuke's Rinnegan. After Sasuke escapes, Momoshiki and Kinshiki continued investigating at another of her dimensions before encountering Urashiki Ōtsutsuki, whom briefed the two about her former territory: the planet Earth and the fact the chakra of its God Tree was spread amongst humanity, including the Tailed Beasts.

Personality and attributes
In appearance, Momoshiki Otsutsuki was a male humanoid with pale skin and pale-blue hair that he kept in a long ponytail. His hair was parted down the middle in a zig-zag pattern whilst his head was adorned with a pair of flat, curved horns.
Powers and abilities
Momoshiki Otsutsuki was of the Ōtsutsuki Clan who possessed massive chakra reserves and the ability to manipulate it to produce a number of superhuman feats such as the power of flight.
He possessed a pair of Byakugan (白眼, literally meaning: White Eye, meaning (Viz): All Seeing White Eye) in both eyes that granted him telescopic vision, x-ray vision, a near 360° field of visual perception and the ability to see the chakra pathway system and its tenketsu.
Meanwhile, he wielded a pair of Rinnegan (輪廻眼, literally meaning: Saṃsāra Eye) in the palms of his hands, and also initially red in colour instead of light purple. With his right one, he could use to absorb any chakra-based technique he came in contact with, and utilise afterwards unleash the said technique with augmented power and scale through his left, where he proclaimed that he was able to perform this to a limitless degree.
It was shown that he was effortlessly capable of destroying a world and its entire population. Momoshiki claimed that he could have defeated Kaguya himself.

In the event of death, he along with others of the clan were familiar with a Kāma (楔カーマ) that was a type of Fūinjutsu (封印術, English TV: Sealing Jutsu, literally meaning: Sealing Techniques). This allowed them to create a compressed backup of an Ōtsutsuki clan member's biological data that they can embed in the body of a compatible recipient known as a vessel (器, utsuwa). Over time, the Kāma will gradually overwrite the vessel's genetic profile until they transform into a perfect Ōtsutsuki. Should the Ōtsutsuki be slain, their soul will migrate to one of their vessels and become anchored to the world of the living, and when the Kāma completes will reincarnate (転生, tensei) through their body, completely replacing them. In the interim, the vessel can learn to activate the Kāma and utilise a portion of the Ōtsutsuki's power and abilities, and if reincarnation has not yet been achieved, the soul of the slain Ōtsutsuki can even manifest and temporarily take control over their body.
Momoshiki was a senior noble with the main family of the Ōtsutsuki Clan (大筒木一族, Ōtsutsuki Ichizoku) where he was often accompanied by a retainer.
