- The Blood were created by Howard Mackie and Mike Manley where they made their first appearance in Ghost Rider/Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance v1 #14 (September, 1993).
In other media
Television
- In Hellstrom, the Blood appeared in the setting of the Hulu live-action television series. This version were an organization created to stand up against the demons. Over many years, the members gathered information about their enemies so that they would be ready to take on the demons that they hunted.

- In Marvel's Midnight Suns, the Blood were referenced in the setting of the video game.
