Origin
John Monroe
Post-Flashpoint
Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.
Monroe was one of many villains invited to join the Secret Society of Super-Villains by the Crime Syndicate of America, an evil version of the Justice League from Earth 3. The Weasel was among the crowd of Society members who attended a meeting outside the destroyed Justice League Watchtower hosted by the Syndicate. The Syndicate announced to the villains that they had defeated the Justice League, and therefore they were free to do as they saw fit with the planet. (Forever Evil v1 #1)

Films
- In The Suicide Squad, Weasel appeared in the setting of the live-action film where he was portrayed by actor Sean Gunn. His origins were not explored but he was accused of going around causing havoc, which supposedly included the deaths of twenty-seven children, until he was finally caught and detained in Belle Reve. Weasel was then forcibly drafted into Task Force X by Amanda Waller. In August 2020, Weasel was sent on a mission to Corto Maltese to destroy the prison and laboratory known as Jotunheim and wipe out all traces of the dangerous Project Starfish, despite him having no idea what was going on. Three days before embarking on his mission, Weasel observed Bloodsport being recruited, while he uncomfortably licked his cell. He seemingly drowned on a mission while being airdropped onto the island's coast. However, a post-credit scene revealed that he had survived where he came to flee into the local jungle.
