Garouf Lafoe

Garouf Lafoe was a short human trader who imported ice to Tatooine. He was present in the Mos Eisley Cantina when Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi came in to talk to Han Solo. After witnessing Kenobi's fight with Ponda Baba and Dr. Evazan, Lafoe left the Cantina and informed some Sandtroopers.

Comments

Although the unscripted shot of Lafoe actually deciding to report Kenobi's actions to the Imperial troops and then leaving the Cantina was cut from A New Hope, he remains in the film in a brief scene wherein C-3PO and R2-D2 see him talking to the Sandtroopers.
