History=
The Mud Pack was a team of supervillains that consisted of various individuals that had taken the name of Clayface. It s origin was traced to when Lady Clayface sought out the original bearer of the name which was Basil Karlo who was at a prison hospital. After seeing her powers, he convinced her to free him and that they gather both Matt Hagen as well as Preston Payne to form a team. (Secret Origins v2 #44)
