Garven Dreis

Garven Dreis was a Rebel pilot who flew as Red Leader in the Battle of Yavin. After the failure of Gold Leader, Dreis led the second trench run to hit the Death Star's thermal exhaust port. He lost both of his wingmen to Imperial TIE Fighters, and the shot he managed to get off missed the exhaust port. Dreis managed to pull out, but was shot down by Darth Vader.
